Welcome to Ohev Shalom's website. This site is designed for members of our community to keep up on synagogue happenings and to afford others an introduction to our community.  For members of our synagogue family, I hope you will visit this site often. It is another way for us to keep in touch.

For those who are visiting this site, I hope it provides a good virtual introduction to Ohev Shalom. I have had the good fortune of serving Ohev Shalom since our founding in 1976. After these many years, I say with great pride that we are a very special synagogue. What makes us most special is a sense of warmth, caring, a joyful, loving approach to Judaism, and a commitment to learning. Ohev Shalom means One Who Loves Peace, and our synagogue family truly embodies much love and a calming sense of peace. 

Please feel free to be in touch. Take this as an open invitation to join us any time for Shabbat or weekday services, learning in our Beyt Midrash, or attending any  of our many program offerings. I personally look forward to meeting you and welcoming you off line, in person.
