FLORENCE MELTON ADULT MINI-SCHOOL OF GRATZ COLLEGE

Two years of weekly study on Wednesday afternoons have flown by for our Melton students at Ohev Shalom:

Ellen Barish, Iris Ben Yishay, Stella Davis, Kaye Paletz, Fern Shulman, Fran Silverman, Cindi Zimmerman and their teachers Dr. Liz Weinberg and Rabbi Gerald Fox have come together as a community of learners and have agreed and disagreed over Jewish texts from the Torah to the NY Times (really!) dealing with ritual, living Jewishly, G-d, the big questions, ethical dilemmas and our rich history. 

They will graduate on Monday, June 15 in the evening at Gratz College, and all are welcome to honor their achievement as yet more learning opportunities become available to them.
